SUMMARY:Ellijay Apple Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Apple Festival brings two exciting weekends (Oct 13-14 & 20-21\, 2018) to Ellijay\, Georgia every year with hundreds of vendors offering food\, art\, crafts\, and more. There are over 300 vendors with handmade\, hand-crafted items\, as well as many on-site demonstrations of how selected types of crafts are made. This year promises many new crafts as well as favorites from past festivals. There is a parade and antique car show each year. The antique car show is held at the Civic Center on October 13th. The parade is on October 20th and begins at 10 AM in historic downtown Ellijay. \nAdult – $5.00\nChildren under 10 are FREE \nEllijay Lions Club Fairgrounds\n1729 South Main Street\nEllijay\, Georgia 30540 \n

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Sunday School\n\nThe nursery and children’s classes (K-5th grade) are located downstairs in the Chapel. As you walk in the Chapel front door\, the stairs are on the right. \n\n\n\nThe Chapel Kids will enjoy The Greatest Journey this Fall. During this discipleship program the children will be invited to know Jesus\, be His friend\, and follow Him. Helping the students along their journey will be a new friend named Sam\, the mascot of Operation Christmas Child. The Chapel Kids will learn first hand about giving to those in need and sharing the Good News about Jesus. \n\nYouth Sunday School\n\n\nYouth Sunday School is typically geared for Middle School and early High School. \nIt is held at the chapel on the bottom level of the Broyles Center in our Teen Room. Go to the lower floor of the Broyles Center. At the end of the hall past the library and bathrooms\, go down the stairs to access the Teen Room.

DESCRIPTION:This event is held at Lindsey Wesseling’s house and typically includes a dinner (subway\, pizza\, hamburgers\, etc)\, a short Bible study\, and fellowship among the High School students. This is a laid-back\, no pressure event. Fellowship normally starts around 6:30pm and lasts until around 8pm\, but the ending time can vary.
