SUMMARY:Chimps Rock! Rock Painting & Sanctuary Tours
DESCRIPTION:Kids and kids at heart will enjoy this special day of art and discovery at the Project Chimps sanctuary for former research chimpanzees\, located in the mountains of north Georgia! \nEach guest will receive a rock to paint and while it dries\, will take a guided walking tour of the sanctuary and learn about the lives of the chimps! \nAfter the 30-45 minute\, small-group tour\, you can add a message of conservation\, inspiration\, or motivation to your rock\, then take the rock home or exchange it for another in the new Project Chimps Kindness Rocks Garden. \nTickets are $10 per child and one adult chaperone. Additional adult tickets are available for $25. \nProject Chimps is a 236-acre sanctuary for chimpanzees retired from medical research. Today\, 59 chimpanzees call the sanctuary home. Project Chimps is privately funded and proceeds from event ticket sales and donations help provide food\, care and enrichment for the chimpanzees. \nThe event will be held rain or shine and Project Chimps cannot guarantee everyone will see a chimpanzee\, but the chances are very good!
