Parents and grandparents\, bring your camera to capture the sweet smiles shared between Santa and youngsters. \nThe annual Holiday Celebration is also a chance to give back to the local community. Big Canoe Public Safety will have designated boxes accepting Toys for Tots donations. DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to LIGHT UP BIG CANOE the Saturday right after Thanksgiving! Boats are launching at 4:00 with all of their lights and decorations in tow. The marina will have hot chocolate\, hot cider and warm fuzzy blankets so everyone can bundle up and enjoy the festivities. We encourage all of the houses that face Lake Petit to string white lights on their back decks so that we can make an even bigger light show that night! If you are still out on the lake at 6:00\, be sure to catch the Fire Truck Parade as it crosses the dam with Santa in tow!!

DESCRIPTION:We are proud to bring you the 24th Miss Georgia Marble Pageant! We’re extremely excited to be partnering with the Georgia Marble Festival\, as this is a fantastic opportunity for our Queens to promote their title and the Georgia Marble Festival throughout the year community involvement and appearances. Winners will be required to promote their title and the Georgia Marble Festival throughout the year with a minimum of two appearances. This is a NATURAL pageant! You can enter through August for ONLY $75 but registration fees will be $100 as of September 1st. \nAdmission on pageant day is $5 for EVERYONE except contestants. \nAdditional information\, rules\, and registration can be found on our website at www.missgeorgiamarble.com or you can email us at missgamarble@yahoo.com.  As always\, feel free to call or text Michelle @ 706-669-0290 &/or Liz @ 404-310-2380 with any questions you may have. Contestants in each age group will compete in evening gown for the title of Queen with the opportunity to win most photogenic\, prettiest smile\, best hair\, prettiest eyes\, and best dress. ALL contestants should be ready to go onstage at 3 pm:\nAge Groups:\n0-11months\n1-2 years\n3-4 years\n5-6 years\n7-8 years\n9-10 years\n11-12 years\n13-14 years\n15-16 years\n17-18 years\nContestants newborn-4 years aren’t allowed to wear ANY makeup and we suggest they wear short dresses with white socks and white shoes.\nContestants 5-12 years are permitted to wear light makeup and we suggest they wear floor length dresses with sandals or low heels in silver\, clear\, or nude.\nContestants 13-18 years are allowed to wear full makeup and we suggest they wear floor length dresses with heels in silver\, clear\, or nude. \n\nCONTEST HELD AT – Pickens County High School- 500 Dragon Dr\, Jasper\, GA 30143
