Winners will be required to promote their title and the Georgia Marble Festival throughout the year with a minimum of two appearances. This is a NATURAL pageant! DESCRIPTION:Join us with your Junior Rangers to embark on a journey of Amicalola Falls State Park! We will be working with one of Amicalola Fall’s Rangers to complete the ranger book and become official Junior Rangers. Learn about ecosystems\, trail maintenance\, and all the wonders of our plants and animals. This classroom-style program will take place in the Discovery Room behind the Visitor Center from 10AM-12PM. Please bring water and be prepared to hike with your newly appointed Junior Ranger! \nAll Junior Rangers will receive a set of patches and a lapel pin. \nThis is a free event for guests. Now is the time to start crafting your cardboard creation. Only cardboard\, glue\, tape and paint can be used to construct the boat. Google and YouTube have a wealth of helpful hints\, tips and designs available. Gather old cardboard boxes or find a cardboard distributor that sells large sheets of cardboard\, pick your boat’s theme\, design the craft and then test it on the waters of Lake Sconti! While your boat design may be simple and sturdy\, be creative and over-the-top with your theme. Official registration forms along with the rules and regulations are available on the Big Canoe POA website\, www.BigCanoePOA.org. \nEvent participation is open to all Big Canoe Property Owners and their guests.
