Located off Cove Road at S Curves in Jasper\, GA. \nFREE T-shirts while supplies last & 🌭 FREE lunch! \nThis event is to teach kids the sport of trout fishing by letting them\, not their parents or another adult\, fish and enjoy themselves. Limit 8 trout per fisherman. No licenses required. \nPlease note this event is for children 15 and under! You will need to bring your own fishing tackle and bait. The event starts at 9 am\, no fishing will be permitted until after the announcements made by the Pickens Sportsman’s Club (who hosts this event). Lots of folks like to show up at the crack of dawn and get stuck waiting a couple of hours to actually be able to fish. The river will be open to all anglers of all ages after the event (approximately 2 pm) however you must have a valid GA fishing license and trout stamp to fish after the event. You can buy a fishing license online. DNR officer will be on site checking licenses. Limit of 8 fish per angler per day as per GA state regulations.

It’s an educational and fun experience for all ages. Something you don’t want to miss out on! \nOn Saturday\, April 20th 10am to 4pm you will get to learn all about agriculture! During AgDay we will have educational demonstrations for everyone to enjoy. \nYou can look forward to: \n-Free samples in the market\n-Live music\n-Face painting for the kids\n-Educational demonstrations\n-Antique tractor show \nADMISSION IS COMPLETELY FREE! \nWe will have a variety of special treats and snacks for purchase. This is going to be a fun-filled day for everyone. \nRSVP to let us know you will be joining us on the 20th. \n*This event will take place rain or shine. If it does rain outside activities may be canceled or postponed for your safety. But we will still have great things happening in the market.
