DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for our annual Hook a Kid Fishing Tournament!! \nRegistration begins at 9:00 am at the Playfield. \nAfter the Tournament on Lake Petit (around noon)\, enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by Blossman Propane & Gas down at Playfield Park. Registration forms are available online or at the Postal Facility\, Wellness Center\, Canoe Lodge and Marina.  At noon\, we will award prizes and serve some great hot dogs\, hamburgers and ice cream! Every child receives a free t-shirt\, a goody bag\, bait and snacks. At Amicalola State Park and Lodge\, we bring you up close and personal with various species of owls\, hawks and falcons every Saturday from 1pm to 2pm in the lodge lobby (excluding major holiday weekends). With amazing eyesight\, quick thinking and deadly accuracy these spectacular birds capture our attention.
