SUMMARY:RockFest 29 at Tellus Science Museum
DESCRIPTION:DON’T MISS THE SOUTHEAST’S FAVORITE ROCK SHOW!\nGEM\, MINERAL\, FOSSIL\, AND JEWELRY DEALERS from across the country will be set up in the Banquet Room and outside on the back lawn. See rare and exotic jewelry\, ancient fossils\, and rocks from around the world that you can purchase for your own collection. Many dealers will even honor the Tellus member discount\, saving you 10% off your purchase (minimum purchase may be required)! \nAt our Demonstration Station\, you can watch local experts show you various jewelry-making techniques. If you are looking to get in on the action\, purchase a geode at the Geode Station and have it cracked open! Don’t worry; you do not have to be present to win. \nAnother way to add to your collection is at our silent auction during RockFest. There will be new specimens available throughout the day\, so check back and bid often! Proceeds from the auction will benefit new collection acquisitions. \nIn between all the shopping and activities\, you might need a break! Members can enjoy a complimentary frozen treat at the Member Hospitality table. If lunch is what you need\, the Tellus Café will be serving a cookout style menu inside and at the back patio restaurant. \nMembers: FREE\nNon-Members: Regular Admission \nSuitable for all ages.
