DESCRIPTION:Get into spring by attending the first ever Earth Day celebration in Dawson County! \nApril 20\, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nDawson County Public Library (342 Allen St.\, Dawsonville) \nSponsored by the North Georgia Conservation Coalition. \nCome and show that YOU care about climate change. \nLots of events for the whole family include: \n1. 15 tables from business\, government\, and environmental groups about what it will take to conserve our natural resources so we can preserve the beauty of North Georgia \n2. A kids table with face painting\, button making\, posters to color\, and a world pop! \n3. A raffle table with some great items for put your money on! \n4. A sales table with hand made environmental items; proceeds go to the North Georgia Conservation Coalition \n5. The announcement of the winner of the Earth Day poster contest held in all the Dawson County Public Schools at 10:45 am. Each school will have a winner with a $25 prize; there will be one Grand Prize winner who will get a t-shirt with his/her creation printed on it!
