DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Apple Festival brings two exciting weekends (Oct 13-14 & 20-21\, 2018) to Ellijay\, Georgia every year with hundreds of vendors offering food\, art\, crafts\, and more. There are over 300 vendors with handmade\, hand-crafted items\, as well as many on-site demonstrations of how selected types of crafts are made. This year promises many new crafts as well as favorites from past festivals. There is a parade and antique car show each year. The antique car show is held at the Civic Center on October 13th. The parade is on October 20th and begins at 10 AM in historic downtown Ellijay. \nAdult – $5.00\nChildren under 10 are FREE \nEllijay Lions Club Fairgrounds\n1729 South Main Street\nEllijay\, Georgia 30540 \n

DESCRIPTION:Toy\, Book & Clothing\nSwap\, Donation & Play Date \n\nJoin your friends and neighbors under the Wildcat Pavilion so that the kids can play! \nGather up your gently used\, tired of reading\, outgrown kids stuff\, for a fun\, friendly\, free of charge community event! You may either swap\, or flat out donate your items. If donating\, we can distribute to local charities\, or thrift shops\, to be announced at the end of the day. \nI’ve never put together a swap/donation day\, so it could be a disaster\, and the kids might cry when they see their stuff headed off to a new home\, so be sure to bring plenty of snacks/drinks and sugar to soothe their spirits. LOL🤣. \nI’d like to keep it enjoyable\, so there’s no set rules\, y’all are grown-ups and can sort it out on the fly. A loose structure\, focusing mainly on their (our 😬😛) socialization\, as opposed to dollar-for-dollar swapping.
