If you have unearthed something that appears to be rare or just “different”\, bring it to the Mineral and Fossil ID Table under the big tent to have it identified by our Tellus experts. \nWhile you are in the dealer showroom\, be sure to register for the grand prize to be given away after the show on Sunday. Don’t worry; you do not have to be present to win. \nAnother way to add to your collection is at our silent auction during RockFest. There will be new specimens available throughout the day\, so check back and bid often! If you are looking to get in on the action\, purchase a geode at the Geode Station and have it cracked open! There will also be various geology-themed children’s activities in the Great Hall. \nRockFest is also a great opportunity to have your own minerals\, rocks\, and fossils identified. If you have unearthed something that appears to be rare or just “different”\, bring it to the Mineral and Fossil ID Table under the big tent to have it identified by our Tellus experts. \nWhile you are in the dealer showroom\, be sure to register for the grand prize to be given away after the show on Sunday. Don’t worry; you do not have to be present to win. \nAnother way to add to your collection is at our silent auction during RockFest. There will be new specimens available throughout the day\, so check back and bid often! Proceeds from the auction will benefit new collection acquisitions. \nIn between all the shopping and activities\, you might need a break!
