Swap, Donation & Play Date

Join your friends and neighbors under the Wildcat Pavilion so that the kids can play!

Gather up your gently used, tired of reading, outgrown kids stuff, for a fun, friendly, free of charge community event! You may either swap, or flat out donate your items. If donating, we can distribute to local charities, or thrift shops, to be announced at the end of the day.

I’ve never put together a swap/donation day, so it could be a disaster, and the kids might cry when they see their stuff headed off to a new home, so be sure to bring plenty of snacks/drinks and sugar to soothe their spirits. LOL🤣.

I’d like to keep it enjoyable, so there’s no set rules, y’all are grown-ups and can sort it out on the fly. A loose structure, focusing mainly on their (our 😬😛) socialization, as opposed to dollar-for-dollar swapping. Please remember, these are your friends and neighbors, so if it’s something you’d like to receive a nominal fee for, please consider selling it on one of the Big Canoe marketplace pages.

**Note**
This event is geared towards the 6 and under group, but we are an inclusive bunch, so we are also happy to welcome children/teens of all ages and their items. We have a pick-up truck and can drop off larger items/bags to local charities/establishments if need.
